We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in securing funding from Children in Need’s COVID-19 Booster programme.
The funding will allow us to purchase equipment to allow us to offer a range of digital communication options to children and young people in most need. This is of particular importance during the current pandemic where the negative impact of not having face to face visits has been significant.
This funding will enable children and young people to have access to advocacy support via digital platforms and will ensure that those who are most vulnerable and isolated have access to their advocate in a format of their choosing. Added to this we will also be able to continue to organise out User Engagement Forums using digital platforms which will open up access to vital peer support. We know that this will add a more meaningful and flexible approach to our work.
