The Healthy Sandwell Support team offers friendly, non-judgemental support to help you stay fit and well. From quitting smoking, drug and alcohol support to early years, sexual health, diabetes and losing weight. Their dedicated town officers are on hand to source the right services for residents.
Route 2 Wellbeing
Route2Wellbeing is a one-stop shop promoting local services and activities in Sandwell. Find a relevant, local service or activity, from sports clubs to bereavement counselling, whether you’re trying to overcome a challenge or just wanting to get involved in something new within your local community.
Sandwell Family Life
Sandwell Family Life supports young people and families to get the best from life. Offering a directory of local activities and services for children, young people and families. Covering lots of topics from leisure activities, to learning new skills, or getting advice or help with some of the more challenging things in life.
Lets Go Sandwell
Lets go Sandwell promotes one-off volunteering opportunities for teams of people in Sandwell. If you are a Sandwell organisation looking to recruit, train, manage or support volunteers, they offer information, guidance and other related support.
Sandwell Family Information Service Hub
The Health and Wellbeing page on the Sandwell MBC website promotes support services to Sandwell residents, covering a variety of topics including child health, counselling, health education, hospitals, men’s health, women’s health and older people, plus much more.

The Kaleidoscope Group
The Kaleidoscope Group offers access to emotional wellbeing support. Whether it’s group counselling for those bereaved by suicide, out-of-hours mental healthcare or residential home support. Their vision is to improve emotional health and transform Lives.
Just Youth Sandwell
Sandwell Youth Service is designed to support young people aged 11 to 19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs. It provides a comprehensive and inclusive service with youth workers who are trained to engage with young people in a non-judgmental and supportive manner.
Healthwatch Sandwell
Healthwatch Sandwell enables the view and experiences of people who use services to influence and improve the way the health and social care services are provided and run. The programme is led through community engagement activities, data intelligence systems, enter and view programme and Healthwatch Champions.
Mind
Mind is a national organisation who offers helplines, resources, and a network of local Minds, to provide life-saving information, support, and advice. Mind campaigns to improve services, challenge stigma, and make mental health a priority.
Mental Health Foundation
The Mental Health Foundation is a national organisation that is tackling the rapidly-growing mental health crisis in the UK by changing approach from managing mental ill health to preventing it. NHS Mental Wellbeing
The NHS offers 5 key steps to wellbeing. These include: Connect with other people, Be physically active, Learn new skills, Give to others, and Practice mindfulness. Evidence suggests that by trying these things could help you feel more positive and able to get the most out of life.
Older People’s Advocacy Alliance
OPAAL is a charity focused on promoting and developing resources to help older people and those that care for them to speak up about their needs and wants. They offer a bespoke enquiry service to help older people who struggle to make themselves heard.
Sandwell Talking Therapies
The Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust offers specialist mental health, learning disability, and community healthcare services to the Black Country. Partnering with health, social care, voluntary services and community organisations to develop and deliver mental health, learning disability, and autism services.
