Housing Advocacy Support Service Awarded Grant from The Eveson Trust

Eveson Trust

We are delighted to announce that The Eveson Trust have approved a grant that will support us to establish a Housing Advocacy Support Service (HASS) throughout Sandwell.

Eveson Trust

The service will provide independent advocacy support to individuals who are 55+ with underlying health conditions.  The Housing Advocacy Support Service will link closely to our Sandwell Together telephone befriending service, to address issues of social isolation and our Voices and Choices Project to share information and expertise we are already addressing around maintaining independent living and/or accessing alternative care provider options.  The Voices and Choices project has informed the need for widening the scope of advocacy provision for older people in need of housing/homelessness support and will be strongly aligned going forward.

Watch this space for more information coming soon!

We would like to thank the Eveson Trust for their support which is very much appreciated.
